Thank you Brett.

I had just gone through a divorce and had heard some very hurtful and painful things that my ex wife had been saying about me. Instead of facing my emotions about the situation, I almost drank myself to death during an eleven day binge. I was in Texas at that time. I checked myself into a mental hospital for two weeks. My sister and brother in law offered me the opportunity to come up here to Connecticut to continue my healing process and to offer me their support. Before I came here they turned to Brett for wisdom and ideas on how to help me. Once I arrived one of the first things we did was to call Brett and have him speak to me. It was one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve ever had. Brett spoke life into me. Told his story to me and encouraged me to approach my recovery with the “Audience of One”. I can’t begin to express what a freeing experience it was for me. Brett has an amazing testimony, heart and gift to help others who are traveling down a road of distruction. I appreciated your excellent council  the last time we talked. A question came to mind this morning, "is my life really this hard or am I making it is this hard." An eye opener to say the least. There are even consequences for the emotional burdens a person brings upon themselves, reaping and sowing is not only limited to the physical realm.
